Oxford Street is a one mile row of shops on either side, and a popular place for tourists. Clothing stores, record stores, gaming stores, furniture stores...if there is something you want to buy legally you can probably find it on Oxford, and it's not as if illegal merchandise is hard to come by either. The activity here is seen as a sign of London's regeneration, although understandably it fails to attract quite as many tourists as it used to, and every so often you see a store that failed to reopen, or was inadequately repaired after damage suffered in the invasion.
Fighting is allowed but is generally put to a halt by law enforcement.
